Gazprom raises EU avg annual gas price forecast in 2021 by 30%

MOSCOW, Aug 19 (PRIME) -- Russian gas giant Gazprom has upgraded its forecast for the average annual price for its natural gas in Europe in 2021 by 30% to U.S. $269.6 per 1,000 cubic meters, the company said on Thursday in a statement published on its Telegram channel.

“Gazprom has renewed its forecast for the average price in the portfolio of long-term contracts for gas that the company delivers to the European foreign countries in 2021. The new forecast is higher by 30%, it stands at $269.6 per 1,000 cubic meters,” the statement read.
